Buckle Up- road safety for young children

Are you concerned with your child's safety when you take your child out in the family car and road safety for young children ?

"Of course I am "you might say but do your actions prove that you have your child's safety as NO 1 priority when it comes to seating them correctly in the family car ?

We are talking about our precious loved children here that no amount of money can replace the joy we receive from them .

To my horror the other day I saw a car pull up where the mother had the baby in the front seat with her unrestrained .

If there had been a sudden stop the baby would have gone through the windscreen without a doubt .

We have had crashes up here where the people died because of not wearing a seat belt .

How sad . Please Please Please

•Children younger than six months must be secured in a rearward facing restraint.
•Children younger than six months must be secured in a rearward facing restraint.
•Children aged four years to under seven years must be secured in forward facing child restraint or booster seat.
•Children aged four years to under seven years must be secured in forward facing child restraint or booster seat.

Make a child safety seat a top priority when shopping for a new baby as I am sure you will want to do what is right for the new addition to your family and protect him/her as much as you possibly can .

Having the right car seat will save your child"s life so make sure you can afford that before worrying about fancy cots/ clothing .

Maybe your family or friends can pool their money together and buy one rather than lots of smaller gifts.

Child's booster seats can sometimes be hired from hospitals , community groups if you are struggling for money.

      Thank you ! I have 3 daughters and always made sure they were seated safely . It doesn't take long yet can avoid a tragedy.
