Complete List of Florida Online Traffic Schools

Updated on July 1, 2012

The state of Florida allows for a variety of basic and advanced driver improvement courses to be taken online. The courses vary widely in cost and format, but they all cover the same material. The cheapest florida online traffic schools will be comprised of text, photos, and quizzes. For a few dollars more, the middle-tier online traffic schools usually include video and narration. And the top of the line options are known as improv comedy traffic schools.

Traffic school may be court-mandated, used to get a discount on car insurance, or keeping a traffic citation off your record. No matter the reason, you will be spending between 4 and 12 hours taking your online traffic class. For this reason, it is important to balance saving money with remaining attentive and sane throughout the class. Online traffic school is great in that you can work through on your own time at your own pace. But it is a long time to spend sitting at your computer.

Thanks for the comment, Hannah. That is indeed essential. That's why every school on this list came from the (impossibly difficult to navigate) official list from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

I have taken the class from the cheapest traffic school, American Safety Council. It is true, you get what you pay for. While the information is solid, it is tedius, has grammatical mistakes, and almost no visual components. Buyer beware, it makes for the longest 4 hours of your life.
