How To Reset Your Pin Code On An Indian Motorcycle
Steps
How to reset a consumer pin.
In order to reset the pin, you must have either the master pin or the previous consumer pin, provided by your dealership.
The key fob number and the key number shown on your pre-delivery inspection form will not work for this procedure.
To reset the pin number.
Turn on the Bike. Once the bike finds the fob, security light turns off.
Press and hold the turn signal indicator until the security light turns back on. At this point, you should re-enter the master pin or previous set consumer pin by using the turn signal indicator switch. Example, pushing 3 times to the left would be for "3", than push 2 times to the right, would be for "2", than push 1 time to the left, would be for "1", and finally, pushing 2 times to the right, would be for "2". The bike will honk, and at this point you can enter a new consumer set pin, by pressing left or right on the turn signal indicator.
Example for setting a pin of 1212, you would hit the turn signal switch, 1 to the left for 1, and hit the turn signal switch again to the right, 2 times, to set 2, and than hit the turn signal switch again, 1 time to the left to set 1, and the last number would be, hitting the turn signal 2 times to the right, to set 2.
After the you have enter the new pin, there will be a delay of a few seconds or more, than the bike will honk. Enter the code again, and the bike will honk again, and you can power the bike down, and use the master pin or your newly set customer pin to power up the bike to start it.
