How to get a dent repaired on my new car in Delhi?
Original hub request: How to repair a dent just above the wheel on my Maruti Swift car? How I can talk to my car insurance company so that they replace it?
The Maruti Service Center in Delhi did a good job in removing a dent from my car's rear bumper. It looks almost new. A very close inspection would give a hint of some work being done, but that is about as much as one can guess. It also depends on the type of dent. What I can make out from your request is that your car has got a bad one. I have experienced it and got it repaired, now it looks like new, so I would not suggest you to change the part, it is a bit too expensive and the originality of the car is lost.
If the dents and scratches are small, then give a touching or make it do by dry denting. Dry denting is a very good thing, gives originality as well as cheaper but the denter should be very perfect. If you live in Delhi, try going to Moti Nagar near just after the Moti Nagar flyover next to Hyundai showroom, there are a lot of shops over there and you can find some shops where it is written "DRY DENTING". One is soni bumper and bumper.

Over here dry dents are repaired without touching the original color of your car.
I think this can help you out.
About Maruti car insurance, if you will take your car for claiming insurance, they will ask for just 2500 rupees and this includes 500/- deductible, and the dent/scratch/paint's tax component is 20%. For the door scratches, they will have to repaint the whole door and same for the dent on the metal above the wheel. If you do not claim the insurance, it would be around 11,000.
Least but not last, if you feel that you should get the part changed, you can insist on it. There are no reasons for Maruti not to sell you a spare part but I am telling you again that I would be far more expensive and it should be done in case of a major motor vehicle collision or accident.
So what you will do, replace the whole part by the company through insurance or remove the dent on your own
