Why You Should Castrol POWER1 Engine Oil
When I say this, I speak from experience. I used to use Motul engine oil without a second thought. I mean, the manufacturer and the mechanics recommended the oil. And there were no real problems with it. The gear shift was okay, and my ride quality was fine. But that was it, just fine, nothing spectacular. It was after a recommendation from a biking buddy of mine that I switch to Castrol POWER1 engine oil, did I discover what I had been missing out on.
The minute I switched to POWER1, I felt like my bike (Pulsar 220F) had been given a new lease of life. The engine was literally purring, on the whole, it felt like a massive engine upgrade. What was different? For starters, there were no annoying engine vibrations, instant throttle response and super smooth gear shifts. Along with this there have been no engine overheating issues in the long run.
I did my research on this oil to find out why it was so much better than all the ordinary oils out there. Turns out the Castrol POWER1 series has a got some of the latest technology such as the Power Release Formula and the Power Protection Formula. What is unique about Castrol POWER1 engine oils is that they have been made specifically for Indian conditions. This oil is very well equipped to help your engine deal with the dusty, humid conditions and roads in India.
On a personal note, I feel disappointed and angry because I had been led to believe that Motul was the only and the best engine oil for my bike. I would have managed to get the most out of my Pulsar had I used the right engine oil from the start. Mechanics need to be more aware about the latest and the best technology in the market. Then again, so do bikers. If you haven’t done it yet, I strongly suggest switching to the Castrol POWER1 synthetic oil!
