Does premium gasoline really make a difference or is it just more expensive?
It's my understanding that it's cleaner. A while back my car had a really dirty fuel injector. After going through a cleaning regimen, my mechanic recommended that I get mid-grade gas or higher to prevent it from building up again. After I did *knock on wood* I haven't had a problem with the injector since (that was like 8 years ago).
oh that's good soit helps car run smoother that is always a plus.
Most cars today are tuned to use regular low octane gas. But that doesn't mean there's no improvement with a higher octane. My wife's car would get 32 mpg on 87 octane but it would get 42mpg on 93 octane gas. And it was a 1987 Nissan with 70 horsepower.
Most cars with large engines (V/8 and up) run smoother with premium gas. If your car isn't running like it used to, a tank (or 2) full of premium will clean the system better than most additives.
If you don't feel any power or performance improvements after a tank full of high octane gas, then your car probably doesn't need it.

Does putting the premium gas in your vehicle really help your vehicle in the long run?Do you know whether putting the high dollar gasoline in your vehicle is really better for your vehicle or are you just paying more money for gasoline?

How does octane 89 affect an engine when you normally use octane 87?I normally use regular (87) octane but occasionally it is the same price for the 89. Should I take advantage or should I keep using the regular?

Don't you think that food is becoming more expensive? Some eateries are constantly raising their prices, and yet the quantity of the food shrinks. There is no need for advertising promotions and whatnot. If advertising costs can be curtailed, then there would not be any need for raising prices....

Should I buy a mac rather than a pc laptop, even though a mac is more expensive?I need a new computer. My boyfriend keeps telling me that Apple computers are far more reliable, faster and better than any PC, but they are a couple of hundred pounds more expensive. Is it worth it?

How expensive will gas have to get before we accept electric cars?At what point will the public decide gasoline is too expensive and decide to switch to electric cars? What is stopping more people from making a switch now?
