Compare and contrast the Ford F150 and Chevy Silverado 1500, which one is better?
Both Trucks are great trucks to consider in this day and age.
Are you looking for a new truck or used truck?
Do you need gas or diesel? What about 4x4 vs 2WD?
Do you need to tow?
You can break down which truck performs better in the above questions to help you decide which truck to buy.
Each truck has its own pros vs cons depending on what area is important to you.
The fitment of purpose is nearly the same for both, so secondary considerations come to mind. The Ford truck outsells the Chevy so if you value the court of public opinion then you have your answer.
If you are still undecided then drive both and see what your gut tells you. Drive at least two of each truck so you don't decide based on a single encounter.

Why do non-Ford trucks rust so much?I'm looking at a used (maybe 7+ years) truck and Chevy, GMC, and Dodge and noticed that almost every one is rusting. The Fords rarely have rust.I live in a salt-the-roads kind of state.
