    I was greatly saddened when the horse and buggy disappeared from common use. I still miss the aroma.

    Not to worry.  It won't take all that long to run out of oil, and even the sun-powered vehicles utilize many petroleum based components in their manufacture.  We'll be back to horse and buggy plus the occasional mule or camel before you know it.

    That might work.  They did have some in our desert southwest, back in the day--military brought 'em in, if I remember the history correctly.
