Vikram Brahma is a Digitalpreneur, Author, Blogger, Writer, & YouTuber. He loves to write content & spend time working from home.

Introduction

Today in this article we are going to talk about hobbies. In simple words, a hobby is a regular activity which we do for enjoyment. And basically we do this during our free time.

Various people can have different types of hobbies. But I like to write mostly about self-improvements, personal growth and digital marketing. I am going to share a list of hobbies which we can build and have a better life. I believe the things which we really love to do if you do that then our career will never feel boring.

So, my honest advice is to make a career out of your hobbies. And in this article, I will share my personal experience of how I am turning my hobbies as a career.

One Hobby To Make Money

When I started my career as a client servicing executive I always had a burning desire to write for advertisement. During that time I was working for an advertising agency. I saw and met many talented copywriters. They use to think most of the time and then suddenly they would come up with some copy, idea and content.

Why I am sharing this old incident because these people have made a career out of their hobby. These people really like to write a lot. And whether you believe or not they are highly paid individuals in our advertising world.

Now I also write professionally but I write for Hubpages forum, my personal blogs and for my new YouTube channel. And I am going to make sure that I earn lots of money out of this hobby. Because I really love writing and through this medium, I like to express myself and my mental condition. And lately, I have figured out a few ways to use one article in different ways and make more money.

Stay fit and healthy

One To Keep You In Shape

Yesterday, I felt some chest pain right side of my body and had a little difficult day. So, I couldn’t concentrate on my task and I took rest after 2 pm. I realised I am spending almost 12-14 hours daily in front of the laptop.

So, I changed some of my routines. And because of my yesterday’s condition, I decided to concentrate on keeping myself in better condition. I really believe health is wealth and we shouldn’t compromise our health. So, from now on I am going to do lots of exercises and this will be my new hobby to keep me in good shape.

One Hobby To Keep You Creative

I started learning about digital marketing way back in 2016. But since I was working at that time I didn’t give much importance to this field. But today digital marketing is one of the most promising careers. And I feel bad that I started too late.

So, in 2019 I again started learning about digital marketing from home. I kept on researching and learning about them and I feel so happy that there are so many things which we can learn by sitting at the comfort of our home.

And because of these learnings now my mind can see the vast opportunities which I can create by sitting at my home. I already saw the vision about my future and it is taking shape each day. So, by learning about various things online I kept my creative mind active.

Leaders are readers

One Which Expands Your Knowledge

Now in the fourth point, I will like to give importance to reading books. This is one hobby which is extremely beneficial for anyone. Yes, reading books is one of the best ways to expand your knowledge.

There are so many benefits to reading books. Even the top billionaire of the world expressed their desire to read more and more. So, instead of wasting your time playing PUBG or watching Netflix start reading books.

By reading books I have personally received many ideas and my mind is totally open to see all the possibilities. And although I stay in a very small town I still have more than 100 self-improvements books with me.

One Hobby To Grow As Better Human Being

And the last hobby which is more of a personal level is related to doing charity, helping wife, children, parents and friends. When you do charity even in a small way your internal heart smile with you. You feel enlighted/delighted and you can feel the grace of God within you.

I like to help my close friends and I am trying to convince them that digital marketing is the future. So, join me, let’s collaborate and I will teach free of cost. And whatever you will earn keep that dollar or rupees with yourself. Another charity which I like to do it related to giving biscuits to local dogs. And I feel happy when they come close and expect me to give some biscuits.

Conclusion

Being an online digital entrepreneur it gave me the freedom to do what I like to do. So, when I work on my online projects I consider them as my hobbies and I get excited to do them without worrying about time. I am so happy that I can put my total energy and focus on something which I really love and care. And yes, these are my list of hobbies and I never feel tired working on them.

      Hello Vikram sir,

I like how you have categorized different hobbies based on the role they play in our lives. There is a misconception that one must concentrate on only one thing to be successful. But I strongly believe that it is important to be a good overall personality. If you are extremely good in one area of your life and bad in others, you won't have a balanced life and this can cause problems.

Thank you for this article !
