Introduction

Human life is great and we as a human being wanted to achieve so many things in our life. From childhood, we have been constantly dreams of achieving various goals.

When I was a teenage, I wanted to become a super athlete. Wanted to bring lots of gold for my school and college. Although, I couldn’t become a national level athlete but yes I became one of the most famous athletes of my school and college. In fact, I was the first person from my college to bring a medal for my Christ College way back in 2002.

But in the last eighteen years, life has changed and now I am looking forward to achieve different dreams and ideas of mine. And I want to share some real-life examples which I have witnessed in my life. So, let’s see what are those tips which can help us to convert dreams and ideas into a reality.

Write down your dreams and ideas

Write It Down Your Dreams And Ideas

If you’re working for some company chances are you will be busy most of the time. And you might forget about your dreams and ideas. Therefore, it’s always important to remind yourself of your dreams every day.

When you will do this and think often about your dreams your brain has the power to give you clues and more ideas as to how to achieve them. So, the best practice is to keep a diary and keep on writing about your dreams and goals almost every day. Let it sink and observed by your subconscious mind.

Bring Clarity And Focus To Your Ideas and Dreams

Now you might be having many dreams and it’s all ok to have many dreams in life. So, in the next step, you have to bring clarity about your dreams. To do this we need to focus only on the top five dreams as on now. But if you can focus on two topmost dreams that will be far better. Well, regarding the rest of dreams we have to keep them aside for now.

Why do we need to do this? Because when you bring the clarity and focus to your dreams then you become a laser targeted missile. You must bring so much focus that you cannot see anything else except your goals.

For example, when I was in college, one of my very good friend Mr. Parag Tanna, he always wanted to become a Chartered Accountant. There was so much clarity and focused in his approach. He passed the toughest examination of Chartered Accountants in one go. Of course, he has to wait for four years to pass various examination but he cleared all one by one. That’s the power of bringing the clarity and focus in life.

Make Small Goals To Reach Bigger Goals

It is true that some goals are big whereas some goals are small. So, if you want to achieve some big goals then it’s best to divide them into small goals. When you will do this you will have more focus and clarity.

For example, my current goal is to write up to forty articles by 31st May 2020 on Hubpages, then I will take some rest. But when I made this goal in the month of April I was sceptic. I thought that is not possible for me who has written only two articles and even failed to pass the boot camp. But I kept on writing more and more. Now, I have reached a stage where not only I passed the boot camp, I even have seventeen featured articles. And this is my 30th article for Hubpages.

This is possible because I made small goals to write at least four to five articles each week. But now I reach a stage where I can write almost four articles every day if I wish too.

Remove all distractions

Remove All Distractions From Your Environment

To bring more clarity and focus to your goal remove all the distractions from your environment. This is extremely important and helpful. My best advice will be to stop watching television, Netflix, Hotstar etc and don’t waste your valuable time too much even on social media.

My second advice under this will be to change your environment from negative to positive. Start becoming more positive about life, feel the positivity about your goals and dreams. Visualize as you have already achieved them. Keep on thinking about them as how you can achieve them, who can help you in achieving those dreams. Concentrate on possibilities and not on the problems.

Only Action Is Foundation Of Success

Now it’s time for real action and prove yourself that you truly care about your dream and goals. Whatever small plans you have made till now it’s time to put them into action. And repeat the process day and night till you achieve your goals.

For example, when I was in college, I was a little carefree teenage. One day I was having some discussions with another good friend Mr. Yashwant. We were discussing the amount of hard work Mr. Parag Tanna is doing every day.

During our discussion, we realized that every day Parag is just studying day and night. He just separated himself from everyone, he keeps himself inside a close door. Even his family members can see and talk to him only during the lunch and dinner hours. Rest of the time he keeps on studying and today he is proud to be a Chartered Accountant, working for ICICI Bank from last fifteen years. This is the power of focused action which my good friend Mr. Parag proved to me.

Follow Up Actions Plans

If you follow the above guidelines and focus all your energy like Mr. Parag Tanna then I am sure you can achieve your dreams. But in case sometimes if you fail or fall short of achieving your goals then you need to come up with follow up action plans. In life, it happens to achieve big dreams and goals we need to try a few more times. So, change your strategy and daily planning but don’t change your goals.

Conclusion

I hope my honest article can give some direction. And Mr. Parag Tanna is not an imaginary person. I know him personally very well as we are close friends. In fact, I told him a few times that the kind of progress I have seen in his life will always inspire me. I am happy and feel honoured to know some path of true success by watching his career.
