An Entrepreneurial Spirit

Updated on October 17, 2017

An Entrepreneurial Spirit

Can you think of anything better than waking up in the morning, going over to the mirror to stare at the boss, I can't think of anything better.

Being an Entrepreneur allows you the opportunity to be your own boss, there are no time clocks to punch, no long commutes to a corporate office building, no answering to a boss or supervisor, and most of all, there is no set salary that you are stuck with, as an entrepreneur, you can make as much money as you want to make. You can treat entrepreneurship as a hobby, which you will receive money only as a hobby, or you can treat your business like a business, and receive the big bucks from your business.

As an entrepreneur, starting out in business will be sort of like a test, you must be able to deal with a slow start, a slow build, and if you can weather the slow start-up, then you will pass the test, and therefore; you will enjoy the benefits of your harvest. the reason a lot of people fail the test of a business that is in its early stages, it's because they are looking for upfront money from the business. When a business is first started, it can take anywhere from 3 to 5 years before you begin to see a profit, and its usually in the beginning, where people give up, and throw in the towel.

A dedicated entrepreneur, isn't a person that is lazy, lackadaisical, or one that is a procrastinator, but a true entrepreneur is a person that is a go-getter, ambitious, a self-starter, and one that has a sharp business mind, this individual is able to sustain through the hard times, some people are just not cut out to run a business, but for you that want to take on this endeavor, you must remember that you will only get out what you put in. It's gonna take effort, commitment, discipline, and integrity to be a successful entrepreneur, these things must be a part of you, a part of your spirit. You must be dedicated, and able to deal with the lack in your business, in order to appreciate the abundance that follows.

Having an entrepreneur spirit is just the beginning of your business start-up, if you don't mean to see it through, then don't waste your time starting. Having an entrepreneur spirit takes passion, and hard-work, just because you are your own boss, doesn't mean you work sparingly. Remember these words that come from the bible, In 2 Corinthians 9:6 it says, "whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully," (English Standard Version) so I ask you this question, Do you have an entrepreneur spirit.
