Asian Mompreneur: How to stay focused on your goals

Staying focused is never easy when you have 101 things on your mind to complete. With both family and work to deal with it can be very difficult to stay focus on your goals.

There can be many reasons why we lose focus and motivation. These can be anything from feeling of overwhelm, exhaustion or even lack of time. One thing I know that doesn't help in achieving one's goal is procastinating.

It is all in your mind

If you have the correct mindset and determination you will be able to overcome any challenges which come your way.

3 ways to Stay on Task

  1. Set a clear action plan

    Write down in detail the steps that you would need to reach your goal. The more specific you are the clear you are about what is expected of you and how to go about to achieve it.

  2. Have a "I can do it" mentality.

    To believe that you are able to achieve you have already won the battle of the minds. There will be a higher probability that you will be able to achieve

  3. Focus on one goal at a time

    If you have too many goals to focus on at the same time it will be difficult for you to pay full attention to all. It may leave you distracted and result in less then satisfactory results for each set goal.
