Earn Money Online Through Amazon Mturk

Updated on October 13, 2012

Before I started writing online (and making the billions each year from it) I started with a website known as Mturk. Mturk is a task website through Amazon that allows for users to complete HITS (Human Intelligence Tasks). Hits are usually fairly easy and fast to complete but they don’t have a high payout. They are perfect for the casual internet browsers that wants to make chump change every so often.

How to Sign Up

You start by going to https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome from there you should see a page that looks like the picture to the right.

From here, you can either post a task or request to become a worker. Its easy and free to signup and if you already have an Amazon account that will work.

The Three Tabs

Once you have signed up you should see three tabs Account, Hits, Qualifications. The picture on the right is what the tabs are going to look like. These three tabs are all your ever going to need on this website.

The Hits Tabs

The Hits tab is where you go to work. The pictures on the right are three real hits. Notice how the color are different. The blue means that I qualify for these hits, whereas the gray means that for some reason I don't qualify. If you look under qualification required it shows that I need to have 1000 approved hits but I only have a totally of 34 hits that have been approved.

The hits also show how many hits are available, how long you can do them, how much you get per hit, as well as a variety of other information. For these pictures I have blocked out the company name for these hits.

The Qualification Tab

To the right is a sample picture of what the qualification page looks like. From here simply click on a link and either take the test or request a qualification. Some requested qualifications are approved instantly while others may take a few days. Again you can see some qualifications are grayed out, this is probably because I haven't completed 100 tasks yet. Once you complete more tasks more things become open to you, this can mean funner tasks and more money.

Account Tab

And finally we have the account table. This tabs is all the information about you. How many tasks you've done, how much money your have earned, if you have received any tips, all that good stuff. This is my personal account tab. Showing you the millions I've made from this site.

...in a nutshell

Well that's Mturk in a nutshell. There is always going to be tasks available on this site. Tips are given for hard work(sometimes). And it usually takes a day or two for your task (hit) to be approved. But this is how I started off making money online.

Love the added pics! They will make it that much easier for those of us at the CMB forum since people will actually know what to look for.
