You have to be able to do more than write if you want to convert with your copy. It involves understanding your target market and showing them why you can give them the solution to their problems. The copywriting tactics that follow have been shown to produce good results.

If you want to create good copy, people must be able to read it. If your copy is hard to follow, you're going to lose readers left and right. You need to make sure you sell effectively and make your points, but you should also use bullet points and subheadings so it's easy to follow. When you write your copy using bullets, you will be able to give the required information to your reader in the most digestible manner possible. A prospect would then be able to just skim over what you've written to know what the benefits are. Subheadings make your copy much easier to read. Your copy would then be once piece separated into many smaller ones. When you have a lot of spaces between subheadings and paragraphs, not only is it easier to view, but it will get a better response. You should be aiming for copy that offers clarity about the product, and you should never try to confuse anyone.

You don't have to create copy that makes it sound like you have a doctorate in English. You are simply trying to tell your prospects that your products are something they need. It's not like you're trying to impress them with your grasp of English, you just talking to them using simple words. You need to just write like it's a pal in front of you. If you can write with comfort, your prospects will receive it better. This will solidify a bond between you and the prospect. People are not looking for generalities about a product. The trick to influencing people is to supply specific information that to into depth about a subject. If you want people to trust you and believe your copy, this is the way to do it. There are exceptions, but in most cases your best approach is to be generous with targeted facts and details.
