3 Low-Cost Growth Hacks for Your Business

Updated on July 6, 2017

Growing your business can be slow work, especially when you are just starting out. If you have a small budget, it can be even more difficult. Here are some low-cost ways to help you grow your business faster and get more customers and revenue.

1) Hire for a few hours

You might not be able to hire a marketing professional full time or even part time. But you can still utilize a professional marketer for your work. Hire one to write out a customized marketing strategy for you, or to give you a few hours of customized training. This will give you the skills you need to get more exposure for your business and to help you grow revenue that may eventually give you a budget for a full time marketer

2) Align yourself with complementary businesses

Think about businesses where your potential customers might frequent. For instance, if you run a small bookstore, your potential customers might also frequent the local coffee shop down the road. Get to know noncompeting, complementary business owners in your area. Ask them if they will display your business cards if you display theirs, or find another way to team up and get more business for both of you.

3) Always ask for feedback

Your existing customers are your best resource when it comes to growing your business. Always ask them what they liked about your product or service and what they did not like. You can also find out where they heard of you. Their opinions might surprise you. You can use the feedback from them to improve your business, keep your existing customers happy, and maximize the sources that bring you the most customers.
