Guide to Generate Good Traffic to Your Site

As blood is the life of your body, so the life of your site is a good and quality traffic. Your site must generate high quality traffic in order for your site to generate good income for you. But how to have good traffic to our sites? Based from experience I learned the following steps that I find helpful; ingenerating traffic to my site.

Guide Number One :

Your site must appear on the first few pages of the search result. Usually when doing a search using google or yahoo or msn or any search engine , articles which are comprehensive and have substantial content about the topic you are searching appear on the first few pages of the search result. So you must try to produce quality, excellent, comprehensive contents for your site in order that your site will appear on the first few pages of the search result using search engines.

Guide Number Two :

Promote your site using social networking sites. Try to join as many social networking sites as possible and place the link to your site in your profile area. The top social networking sites are as follows : Myspace, Facebook, Takepart,Nextcat, Linkedln, Friendster.

Use social bookmarking sites to promote your link. Social bookmarking sites are sites that allow users to post their favorite cites using tags or keywords to categorize and organize them then the other users take these bookmarks and add them to their own.

Top social bookmarking sites are as follows : Del.icio.us, Digg.com, Reddit, Furl, Clipmarks, Stumble upon..

Promote your sites using Yahoogroups and MSN groups. Join as many Yahoogroups and MSN groups as possible where you can promote the link to your site.

Join as many Forum sites as Possible. Some forum sites like Noexpiry.com provide section in their forum where you are allowed to post your link..Top forum sites are Mylot, Noexpiry, Webtradehut.

Guide Number Six

Maximize the use of tags. Place as many related tags as possible to your content. Tags are used by the search engine to locate your content. Placing greater number of tags to your content will increase its probability of being located by the search engine.
