Don't you just hate it when you see headlines like that? So what do we do? We click on the link. It's a natural thing to do - we all want to make money, lots of money, quickly and easily. I think we're all realistic enough to realise that it's very unlikely to happen like that but that's not going to stop us! As you may know from previous pages of mine my personal quest is to make some money from the Internet - I'm researching and experimenting and as I go along I'll be passing on any useful information I find. Here I'm going to recap some of what I've learnt already and also offer some words of encouragement and, in addition, I'm going to throw in some meditational techniques free of charge now where else could you get an offer like that?

O.K. - so much for the hype - now back to reality - how many times have you read phrases like that?
WHY? - BECAUSE THEY WORK!
From now on I'll try to keep off the bold and capitals - I was only doing it to illustrate the techniques I've seen employed.
So our first lesson in our quest is:-

My headline is an experiment to see if this page gets more attention than my other pages - I'll keep you informed of the stats.
The stats will tlll me how much traffic I get and that's our first aim - to drive traffic to our site(s)
I'm in the process of creating my own site - it's a time-consuming task but I would prefer to offer something useful than just advertise other peopl's products or services.
I know that some of you may think that a website is too difficult/time-consuming/boring etc. - But that's the way I prefer. You could start with a free website describing a hobby or interest just to get into the swing of it.
If you want to experiment with domain parking that's fine - there's a couple of mine at the bottom of the page so you can see what they look like. You can try growing a beard while you are waiting for them to amass you riches - and that's only for you ladies out there! - we men will be practising my relaxation techniques.
The good news
The path you have chosen is an exciting one, with new opportunities presenting themselves every day. Approached the right way, our quest can help us appreciate ourselves and our lives more. We can respond to the challenge in a positive, enthusiastic manner. There are no time limits and there is nothing to prove - it's not a competition.

Your Free Bonus - as promised
At some point in our lives most of us are affected by the stress and difficulties of everyday life - mine's normally at 4 o'clock on a workday - but one thing I've found which gives some relief is to practise deep relaxation. You've probably read about this before but, from personal experience I thoroughly recommend it and I definitely think it's something you should practise on a regular basis - it's very difficult to do if you are suffering at the time but it's much easier if you have practised regularly.
While you are lying or sitting comfortably you take a few deeps breaths then you say to yourself my toes are relaxed, my toes are relaxed -
while you are saying this to yourself you obviously concentrate on your toes - otherwise I don't think it would work!
Then you say (to yourself) my feet are relaxed, my feet are relaxed
I always say it twice in case I didn't hear it the first time - no seriously - I think it works better, it gives your brain more time to take it in.
Work up through the whole of your body and don't forget your head. Then concentrate for a while on your breathing. It works great for me and if you stick at it it will work for you too. Good luck - I'm off to do some more research into SEO etc.
