Quick Introduction To Creating A Successful Website.

Well you maybe wondering .......HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I MAKE A WEBSITE WITH 0 TECHNICAL SKILLS AND A PUNY INVESTMENT.It's no surprise ,really! Most of you might have stumbled upon some affiliate program ,some may have an idea of starting a company but most of you are clueless of where to start and how to start.

So here i am, to help you newbies out! It's a long but an easy process with which you can get your website up and running in no time.(I myself felt this confusion when i started out and felt the need to help you guys out).

PLEASE DO REMEMBER THAT THIS IS QUICK AND A BASIC GUIDE.IT EXPLAINS ALL OF THE IMPORTANT STEPS BRIEFLY.

Right! On to the basics then.....First of all you will have to get a DOMAIN NAME AND A HOSTING ACCOUNT.(Very important!)

1): DOMAIN NAME:A domain name is an identification string that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority, or control on the Internet. Domain names are formed by the rules and procedures of the Domain Name System (DNS). Technically, any name registered in the DNS is a domain name.A domain name is an identification that defines a realm of authority and control over the internet.(Example : www.AMAZON.com.Here amazon.com is the domain name.)

2): HOSTING ACCOUNT:A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their website accessible via the World Wide Web. (Example : bluehost hosting services.)

STEP 1:GETTING A DOMAIN NAME AND A HOSTING ACCOUNT:

Getting a domain name and a hosting provider is very easy(emphasis on easy!).There are many services out there that charge very less for domain names and their hosting. But i highly recommend BLUEHOST hosting services. They charge only about $3 per month for the hosting and also give you a free domain name to start off with.(for which most companies take $10!).They have a brilliant customer support and use very advanced technology to make your website hassle free. They also provide many website and blog building tools such as wordpress CSS etc which otherwise cost a lot of money.(P.S I talk with experience and have 3 websites running great with bluehost.

(Just in case you don't want to pay for domain names and hosting it is perfectly understandable. So,just to help you out here is an article to get domain names and alternatives for free!)

1):Go to Bluehost with the link and sign up.

2):This is a delicate step and read the process very carefully....

GO TO GOOGLE AND SEARCH FOR THE WORD "GOOGLE ADWORDS" AND CHECK WHETHER THE DOMAIN NAME OF YOUR CHOICE HAS LOW COMPETITION AND A PRETTY DECENT SEARCH RATE.THIS DETERMINES THE AMOUNT OF TRAFFIC YOU WILL BE RECEIVING.CHECK AND CHOOSE A GOOD KEYWORD TO GET MORE TRAFFIC.

3) :After you choose the keyword of your choice make it your domain name. Then choose your hosting package and fill the other details.

AND YOU ARE DONE WITH THE FIRST STEP!

STEP 3 :SENDING AND RECEIVING TRAFFIC TO YOUR WEBSITE:

This is the last and final step after building your website. It is mandatory for all website owners to drive traffic to their websites i.e getting more page views, getting a high rank in the google search engine OR SEO(Search Engine Optimization). This enables the website to get more traffic resulting in increased sales and better rankings. This can be achieved with the following steps.I will only be showing you how to use "ADWORDS" FROM GOOGLE.(They will give you advertising credit worth $50 after signing up).

1):Go to google adwords and sign up by agreeing to their terms and conditions.

2):After this you will receive your $50 credit which you must use to advertise your website.

3):Also choose the appropriate keywords which have a pretty decent search rate and low competition.

4):Submit your website url to google and yahoo and also submit a sitemap for faster indexing.

5):Setup a google Analytics account so that you can see where the traffic is coming from.

6):After this all you have to do is keep updating your website so that you will still rank high in the google search engine tool.

ADDITIONAL STEP(VERY IMPORTANT TOO!):BACKLINKS AND SOCIALIZING :

Due to the recent panda updates it has become pretty important to provide backlinks to your website. This helps the google spiders to crawl to your website through links from different other websites. This enables your website to get indexed by search engines faster.

Also make a facebook fan page about your website, add pinterest and twitter icons in your website for sharing. This makes your website rank way better in google and other search engines.

AFTER YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL THE STEPS LISTED ABOVE YOU ARE DONE AND YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND START EARNING SOME BIG BUCKS WITH THAT WEBSITE OF YOURS.YOU CAN ALSO MONETIZE YOUR WEBSITE WITH GOOGLE ADSENSE.THIS ALLOWS YOU EARN SOME REGULAR PASSIVE INCOME FOR A LONG TIME.

Thats It...You're Done!

Those are all the steps that are necessary,in a nutshell!Hope you succeed and if you have any questions and comments, please let me know down below!

This is a very helpful article. One problem with Wordpress for me, however, is that it is so difficult to share videos. What are the advantages of Wordpress vs blogspot?
