Make Money Selling Tattoos

Updated on June 10, 2011

Sell Tattoos And Make Money As An Affiliate

Tattoo selling is a popular way of making money with the many affiliate programs out there that have tattoo libraries that are there to help people to find a tattoo, it is a good way to make money if you already have web pages or a website that relates to the tattoo art world, although you may want to split up your article content so that it all doesn't focus on trying to sell tattoos to people all the time.

The best thing you could do is to write different topics about tattoos on a blog, preferably a Wordpress blog that is more search engine friendly and you can sprinkle your affiliate links lightly within your blog post content, the idea is to pepper them around focused content that relates and is highly targeted to the same keywords, so for instance tattoo ideas would be a good keyword to use to use a keyword anchored text link that leads people through one of your affiliate links..

As an affiliate, you have quite a few choices through Clickbank.com to select the best tattoo art that you can sell, some of them are memberships which people have to purchase in order to get right to the tattoo libraries that you can browse to find a tattoo or get inspired by the range on offer.

The top ones such as Chopper tattoo, tattoo fever and Tattoo me now are the ones to promote, but there are others to promote which might be good to do so, but look through them with care as sometmes on Clickbank, some products and memberships are terrible, as they are either ebooks that don't provide any useful information whatsoever or the memberships aren't up to much with memberships that don't update too often.

Making Money Selling Tattoos

With tattoo selling you aren't limited to just affiliate programs on clickbank, there are many ebook directories that you could if you wanted to read the books over there and re-write and turn those into even better ebooks packed with more information and insights than the author tried to achieve with the original ebook and you can then sell your newly written ebook, depending on the page length and usefulness of the information you've provided.

This is something I am doing this year, I'm aiming for an ebook every month, so that'll be 12 ebooks in a year and tattoos are a popular niche to do just that,as there are many different aspects of tattoo art that you could write in depth on each sub category and dominate the tattoo niche...eventually!

Back to selling tattoos, you might want to check how to draw tattoos to sell on this one, but if you can draw, then there you have a stream of income that you could work towards, one that could be sold as a service from your blog, or specific designs on Ebay or write specific information on how to draw the best tattoos.

Like any niche, the best results are achieved from those who stick with it and keep marketing and writing new ebooks and just keep plugging away at it, because the more work you o in a focused area, then you'll make money selling tattoos and tattoo related content and be good at it too.

Personally I am flattered when other people use my pics or articles. In fact, I make them readily available for everyone to use. Life is to short to be petty and selfish.

I would be happy to include a link back to your website to give a nod to your tattoo. Sometimes it's quite hard to trace back the origins of photo content, so sorry for that.

Someone took my picture, that I took, of a tattoo that I did, that I posted on a different sight, and some one took my picture and copyrighted it; and I'm supposed to care that you can't see the middle of the picture? Really? So this actually a way to tell people in how to make money off stealing peoples pictures? How about actually contacting the artist of the tattoo and seeing if it is ok first? Or at least even giving the artist credit for doing the piece? How is this even ethical? Learn how to make money for selling stuff that isn't yours? I do have records of when I did this piece and in fact I is my actual pic, so I'd appreciate at the least some recognition or pull down the picture.

Tis good though, except for the middle head bit on the tattoo which you can't see too clearly!

How did someone get my picture and post it without my permission? This was on my rate my ink and someone stole it? Wow. Pathetic.

I hope that reading the above information was both enjoyable and educational for you. Your learning process should be ongoing--the more you understand about any subject, the more you will be able to share with others.

It's best to get on the Internet and have a look, I recently came across a site called fiverr.com and that site is ok if you mind doing drawings for $5 each. I set up a couple of accounts there and have sold a few drawings so far.

Best thing to do is to have your own website if you haven't already and display your stuff there and just promote the hell out of it, because you will be in competition with other artists out there!

this is very helpful thanks alot. You dont know of any websites that would actually pay you to draw? Like say I had some designs, are there any websites that I could present them too and they would post them on their website and we each get a cut?

      Thanks Nancy!

I'll admit this is a niche I am becoming heavily involved with, particularly as I polish up my ebook on the subject of drawing tattoos to sell, which is shaping up to be my first ever product for sale at a low price I might add!

I'm going to write a bit more in depth with this one as this is something I am concentrating on more now with my own tattoos I'm selling and combining them with affiliate tattoos to sell.
