13 Firefox Extensions And Add-ons That You Cannot Live Without.

Firefox is catching on in a big way with Web users. It is faster, more secure, and can easily be customized to look and perform just how you want it to. There are tens of thousands of add-ons, extensions, and themes to download to personalize your browser’s look, feel, and use. Whether you use the internet to blog, run a website, or just browse, there are tools out there for you.

If you haven’t tried out Firefox yet then I would highly recommend checking it out. You can download it here. Below are some extensions that will make your life so much easier.

SEO Add-ons for Firefox:

The Affilorama Firefox SEO Toolbar provides you with useful information and data to make the analysis of domains and pages super easy. You will be able to evaluate your page rank with the big search engines, check for backlinks for your site, and review your on-page details of your site.

The SEO Profesional Toolbar stores the history of ranks for selected sites. Highlight words, links, view number of words and more. And it has charts that will help you to follow your progress.

The SEO Doctor add-on helps you to optimize your site. It offers easy diagnosis of SEO problems for beginners and experts alike, and even offers solutions for common problems.

The Niche Watch Tool is useful for webmasters and SEO professionals for analyzing niche keyword competition for ranking at the top of search engines.

Blogging and Social:

The Adsense Notifier Add-on displays your Adsense earnings so you can keep an eye on your money without having to open another page.

The Clipmarks Add-on lets you clip and share specific parts of articles, blog posts, or anything else you read on the web.

The Shareaholic Add-on lets you share your hub with a number of other social sites.

Security:

The Dr. Web Anti-Virus Link Checker Add-on lets you send files that you want to download with an online virus scanner before you do so. This can be done without downloading the file first to your computer.

The Search Engine SecurityAdd-on changes the referrer when visiting web pages from search engines to protect against some forms of malicious redirects.

The Noscript Add-on lets you block any script that you want.

Web Design:

The Firebug Add-on is an open source add-on that gives web designers powerful tools for inspecting and debugging a web design. If you are a web designer I highly recommend this add-on. After trying it out I did not know how I made Webpages before without it.

The Page Speed browser extension analyzes a web page and tells you where improvements can be made to increase the site’s speed.

The IE Tab 2 Add-on allows you to view any web page using Internet Explorer without leaving Firefox.

I use Firefox quite a bit, but it has no 'compatibility view' like IE, so I have to switch back and forth for some websites.

I've been using Firefox for about 7 or 8 years. I previously used AOL and IE and you can probably imagine the problems I had. So, I dropped AOL and switched to Firefox, haven't looked back since. Best browser there is, hands down. Nice hub.

It took my friends a long time to talk me into using it. After using it I got hooked though. I agree with you it is the best browser that there is.
