Make money easy with dropshipping

Updated on December 18, 2012

Introduction

In this article I am going to explain how to make easy money online thru drop shipping. I am going to explain exactly what drop shipping is in comparison to wholesaling, and explain the steps involved to get you exactly there so that you can have a profitable income, and not have to invest in tons product.

Drop shipping vs wholesaling

Let me just say for starters there is a big difference between drop shippingand wholesaling. Wholesaling is buying a big quantity in bulk of product at a discounted price and re selling the merchandise individually for a bigger profit. Drop shipping is where you are the middle man between the supplier and buyer. With drop shipping- you list a product at a higher price, and have the item shipped directly to the buyer after the buyer pays. The buyer does not get an invoice in their order, and you pay for the item when the buyer pays. You don't have to buy merchandise, and invest tons of money. The key to drop shipping is just finding a good supplier that offers great discounted product where you can re-sell for a higher price and gain the difference in profit.

So how do I make money drop shipping?

The first thing you need to do if you are considering making additional money online thru dropshippingis to find your niche. A niche is basically your product that you are wanting to sell. You must know allout about this product, so if you are selling children's clothes you need to know the popular name brands, and have a good estimate of what the average price is on that particular brand. You can do this thru a good internet search.

The second thing you need to do- once you determine your product is to get on a few websites that are popular for reselling items. (Unless you plan on creating your own website which this can be allot of work if you don't know what you are doing). Some of these websites could be eBay.com, e bid.com,u bid.com,amazon.com, and bonanza.com. When you do this and search your items that you plan on selling it gives you a good idea on what prices you should be asking. Once you figure out your prices the next step is to find a good drop shipper that can offer you a decent price where you can sell it for more and make a profit.

Drop shippers are everywhere. There are quite a few in Australia, the UK, and of course China. A few good websites that I have used for finding drop ship suppliers is Trade key.com, and Aliexpress.com. Doba.com is also a good resource but they charge a membership. The other 2 that I listed are free to become members. Salehoo is also a good site to become a member of. They help you dropship with forum information, and suggest dropshippers for your specific product. Salehoo also charges a year fee, but let me tell you it is so worth it.

I have been drop shipping for approx 6 months now. I personally couldnt afford to buy a bunch of merchandise in bulk, so I decided to dropship. I have been making a fair income doing this. I do not have my own website but I have been using ebay, ebid etc to list my products. My method of payment of course is PayPal. When a customer orders- they pay me thru paypal, then I pay the supplier and gain the difference. I don't have to buy merchandise I just pay for it after I receive payment. You would be surprised in the money that you can personally make with this.

Summary

Like I said before the key to this is just finding your niche. Your niche should be products you are personally interested in. Then your next step is to investigate what the product really goes for. The third step is to find a drop shipper that can ship your products directly at a price where you can gain profit. Drop shipping is relatively easy.
