Making Money Online with YouTube Partnerships

Updated on July 24, 2010

Of course by now we all know about YouTube. YouTube is the place to go and find informational videos, music and much more. But did you know that there is a way to integrate YouTube with your Google AdSense and start making money with your very own videos? Well I'm going to tell you what to do and how to do it!

How to qualify for a YouTube Partnership

There are 3 simple steps that you must take to first and foremost qualify for a YouTube Partnership.....

  • First and foremost you must create your own unique and original videos for online streaming. Which means all those hours you spent video blogging or maybe even reviewing a product could qualify you for becoming a YouTube Partner. This doesn't mean go and upload something from your television or other things. But make it unique and make it yours.
  • You own the rights to everything that you upload to YouTube. Meaning you again are making the videos, or you have the express written consent to upload other things.
  • You are uploading videos regularly that are viewed by thousands. Which I'm not yet in this category but hopefully soon will be.

If you think you meet any of these critera go to the YouTube Partnership home page and apply today!

What are the partnership benefits you may ask?

Well there are a few partnership benefits involved with becoming a YouTube Partner. First and foremost is the money. You can share in the revenue from relevant ads that will be placed on your uniquely made videos. You will also be able to make money on the rentals of your videos. And you can also work with YouTube to participate in co-marketing and branded entertainment opportunities with the leading top brand advertisers.

You get to utilize the YouTube Insight analytics tools to help you create more targeted content to help satisfy your audience and the advertisers. You can learn more about what your audience is watching regularly and their demographics. Also a great tool to utilize is learning how your target audience is finding you. Learn what videos you are making that are becoming more popular and the most engaging to the audience. Also you can learn where you are becoming successful and where you are falling short. Thus, allowing you to obtain a broader insight into what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong.

Good to have another stream of income. The plus point is that you can earn money as you promote your blogs through videos.
