Music review site-Slicethepie.com
Slice The Pie
One of my favorite sites for making cash is Slicethepie.com, a music reviewing site and also a great channel for upcoming artist to expose their music. It's a British based website and funding is not an issue and they have few ads. The music industry invests in this website and you you get to scout talent for them. You also have the option to invest in an artist or group's investment.
So here's the deal. You sign up for free to become an A&R, which is a music reviewer. They have four categories that determine your pay rate as follows;
Rank // is a measure of the quality of the reviews that you have submitted. The higher your Rank, the more you get paid for each review.
Experience // you gain Experience each time you submit a review, the better the quality of each review, the more Experience you gain for that review.
Energy // each review you submit uses Energy, when your Energy runs out you can't submit any more reviews. Energy replenishes over time.
Level // you go up a new Level every time you fill your Experience bar.
You can earn all day. You listen to a song for 90 seconds and then a review box appears. You leave a review then go on to the next song. No downloads ever. I have reached (with no pasting) $65 in one day. There are no referrals @ slicethepie.com so I made no money putting you on to this site. There are other money making options like investing in artist but are optional. When an artist gets popular and gets fans, there fans invest in their albums and share the revenue. Check out the website for further details.
TIPS for Slicethepie.com
1. Write grammerically correct- (use dictionary or thesaurus to be craetive in your review)
2. Do not copy and paste, it will get you banned
3. Be open minded about genres of music that you do not listen to.
4. Be honest and try to best match your review's details with the rating you gave the song.
5. Tip well- (there's an option to tip an artist, it shows that you took a liking to the music)
You can raise money for recording music. When slicethepie.com began it was based on an artist or group rating music until they made money to release their own album. A lot has came and gone and I must say the current platform is simply the best. Get your friends to join and you'll earn 10% of their earnings too.
Update: Now Slicethepie has clothing review. You can review clothing and get money for leaving feedback on styles, colors and much more.
