Goals:
I am currently happily retired and enjoying some travel and volunteering and writing. My interests are many and spans the range of personal enrichment and travel and cooking recipes and politics and religion and technology...and DIY projects.
I completed my autobiography in 2016 which is 32 chapters covering from my childhood in Taiwan to my retirement. It was a wonderful experience reflecting on my life and my achievements.
In early 2017, I embarked on a project to help the CCNY women's fencing team. A group of my former teammates reconnected after 40 years and had a wonderful reunion. We started a group called Friends of CCNY Fencing and have organized to help by donating some needed equipment. We are looking at other avenues to help the team. We have met with the CCNY Athletics Department and they are open to working with us moving forward.
After retirement, I found that I have extra time on my hands and decided to do some additional volunteer work. I volunteered to catalog the 7 boxes of material in the possession of the Fencers Club. I am interested in applying for a board position at the Fencers Club. I believe I have the skills to help improve current operations. Working at a large international corporation required me to travel all over the world and deal with many people from various backgrounds and cultures. I have a full appreciation of the diversity of our world and the various members of our club.
I am also a board member of the Asian Alumni group since 2017.
My autobiography is here, published on HubPages.
