Search Engine Keywords-KISS

Search Engine Keywords-The Proper Ones

There is no reason to make things difficult.  Putting it so we can understand search engine keywords or a key phrase are for getting traffic coming to your site.

When people search Google they are using keywords or a key phrase to get the results they are looking for.  So your job is to do a little homework so you can figure out what your future customers are looking for.

Once you have the search engine keywords figured out you can use this to your advantage in order to get people visiting your site and possibly purchasing a product you may be selling.

So what you need to do is take a look at your website and pay attention to what you are selling.  After you do this you need to try and figure out what keywords people will be using to search out the products on your website.

Something else that is very important is knowing people rarely use a single keyword anymore.  They are trying to be more precise in their searches so it is phrases they are using.

Search Engine Keywords-Long Tail keyword

So when it comes to search engine keywords we often get people asking us what are long tail keywords?

A long tail keyword is just another way of saying a keyword phrase.  A long tail keyword consists of 3 or more keywords in a phrase being used in a search.

Maybe years ago simply searching a single keyword could result in you finding what you are looking for.  However these days if you are looking for something more specific the only way you are going to find it is through a long tail keyword search.

So that is why it is important for you to do your homework and figure out what phrases people are looking for in order to get their searches resulting in finding your website.

Search Engine Keywords-Learn The Best use Of Competition

There is no doubt that if you are looking for sales from your website you will generate more by using long tail keywords as opposed to the single generic keyword.

Using a keyword phrase you will rank higher in search engines including the big ones like Google and Yahoo.  The reason for this is less completion when it comes to using the right keyword phrases.

If you search the word fishing you get Google coming back at you with 142 million results.  Now if you searched fishing for walleye in deep water you would get 102 000 results coming at you from Google.

I think with results like that it is quite easy to see how it would be easier to rank for the phrase as compared to the single word.

Another reason a phrase is better for sales is that once someone is actually using phrases as compared to single words they are getting much closer to buying.  By being specific they are looking for something instead of just browsing.

You know people are much closer to buying when they are searching say Hummingbird 2019 ocean fish finder as opposed to just searching fish finder

So if you are in business and looking to get traffic to your site you need to know there is no better traffic then search engine traffic.  That's why learning about what search engine keywords are and using them properly will help you make all the difference in the world when it comes to selling your wares online.

Yes, you can see that search terms have evolved from the earlier days. I think people have learned to use three or more keywords in a phrase because they are fed up with scrolling through loads of irrelevant trash.

      Thanks for this x
