The Pilot of the European Business Growth Catalyst, or EBGC, was launched last autumn by the European Centre for Business Growth, at Sheffield University, ALBA Graduate Business School and ESADE Business School.

In association with the Consultancy Academy, the course provided academic assistance and guidance to 67 SMEs, including 35 in the UK, to allow them the skills and knowledge needed to take their businesses to new, ground-breaking heights. Official Launch

Following from the tremendous success of the EBGC's pilot scheme, the programme is to be launched across Europe at the Conference on Business Growth in Athens on the 11th of September. The conference will include speakers from Greece's ALBA Business School, England's Sheffield University and the Consultancy Academy, and Spain's ESADE Business School - all of which work to provide the EBGC to the now proven high standard.

The EBGC promises to provide SMEs with the tools and knowledge to expand upon their business and reach new heights they might have otherwise not considered. Grants may be available to assist entrepreneurs in attending the programme.
