An article directory brings you traffic, and Traffic Equals Money!

About Article Directories

There are plenty of great article directories out there, and a lot of spam filled ones. Hubpages is in my opinion one of the highest quality article directories on the interent, and yet some of us writers still want more.

Where can we create our own backlinks froma site, without having to worry about it being associated with thousands of other spam articles?

I have created the This is Freelance article directory as a High Quality article directory which provides a safe haven for writers looking to post quality content, and to ensure this, I will be giving access solely to the best of the best of Hubpages looking for a new backlinking resource.

As well as giving backlinks I also love to give things back to the people who write on my sites, which is why the This is Freelance article directory splits it's adsense and amazon impressions 50/50 down the middle with the writers who submit content.

When the site starts to bring in some real money I will be shifting the 50/50 advert impression sharing to a 60/40 split that will favor the writers. I believe that it is the hard work of these people which will decide whether or not the venture will become a success, it feels onyl right that I reward the people who help create this community. If things really take off, I will also be enabling a feature which allows me to evenly distribute advert impressions from the main index page, giving the writers even more income for taking part in the This is Freelance article directory!

Is the This is Freelance Article Directory really worth it?

To begin with results from the This is Freelance article directory will be limited, it is a new site and has pretty low traffic at this moment in time. As we get more talented writers in the picture and more time is spent promoting the website, the This is Freelance article directory will be a high quality and spam free source of both backlinks, Adsense earnings and Amazon sales.

How can the This is Freelance article directory work for me?

The This is Freelance article directory gives you a wide range of benefits, and the more you do, the more you can make it work for you. Right off the bat, This is Feelance gives you,

  • Do follow backlinks (up to two external and two internal per article
  • 50% revenue sharing on Adsense and Amazon
  • Exposure to the best writers on the internet (the community forums will let the best of the best discuss their expertise)
  • Free reign to advertise products through affiliate links

The more you do for the This is Freelance article directory, the more you could earn. Simple techniques such as backlinking, social bookmarking and SEO help to increase overall website traffic for both you and the other writers on the This is Freelance article directory. Remember that each backlink to the site helps to increase every page on the site by a small amount!

How can I join the This is Freelance article directory?

To keep quality high, the This is Freelance article directory is open to only the best of writers, who have displayed in their entirety on forums and articles both the ability to write, and act maturely.

By adhering to these simple principles I believe that I can bring together a community of like minded talented writers who are able to create a high quality article directory, without the worry of spam devaluing the content of the entire site.

To maintain these values all I ask is the following

  • Track record of no community drama
  • At least 50 well made aticles on Hubpages (other sources considered)
  • Write unique articles, which are unique and non-spammy
  • No duplicate content on the site, this is the only real infringement I will crack down on!
  • Never click on your own adverts!

If you are on Hubpages and have a pretty good collection of articles then you can Apply to Register now!

Not quite, Hubpages is open to everyone, My article directory is closed to invite only. This helps keep out the spammers, which can easily demote quaity written articles from the Google ranks.

This is not really meant as an alternative to Hubpages, more as a suppliment to it. Nearly every backlink I have in my articles on there so far point back to my hubs!

With several thousand searches a day, it is not a bad article to have at all BrettB ;) the good thing about my article directory is of course that people can write pretty much whatever it is that you want to with Googles TOS.

The other good thing about a group based article directory is of course even if you stop writing, your traffic will steadily increase thanks to other writers continuing to work on the site and keeping things fresh.

Of course if you stop writing you earings will not increase quite as fast!

Hi! I do agree with you. Hubpages is one of the best quality content sites on the net. The salient point about hubpages is the ever active hub community, thanks to hubpages' ingenious methodology of "encouraging" all! --Thanks

Wow, an article about the health benefits of cheese. That's what I want to see in an article site!

Good luck with the venture. I'd love to join but I suspect I'm better off expanding my own sites.

Hubpages is by far better than any other article directory coz it has its classy members who bother to comment on your articles, and when it comes to article ranking comments mean a lot...
