Trading Stocks Harder Then It Looks

Updated on August 1, 2009

Ok so this is another hub from a stay at home dad trying to start a business in his spare time... to catch up here is the link to the first hub... Turning Your Spare Time In To Huge Profits For Dummies

Ok so I dont know anything about stocks

So I jump on the site... I figure am pretty smart.. I can figure out how to buy and sell stocks... I had no problems getting to where I was suppose to be to actually trade free stocks... but I got to be honest I didnt have a clue what I was doing... it asked me for a stock symbol.. how many shares... was a buying selling selling short options... I shook my head and said ok I am going to have to go back to the very begining for this one....

I am going to have to find out what the basic terms of trading stocks are, what they mean... how do I go about learning whtas a good investment... what is a bad investment...

But as I was surfing around the site I found my mind racing how I could sell this site to beginners really easy... Now some of my ideas I may share... but honestly I am going to keep a few under my hat...

I have read a few places that there are people out here that will steal every idea they can... I will share 50 to 75% of all my ideas but I got to keep a few tricks in my bag for later...

So while am learning the basic terms for stocks... I figured why not start writting a few hubpages as well... I know a blind pig can find an acorn every now and again... maybe through writting I am able to find a few acorns (sign ups for the free stock game)

I hope my project is not a crashing option...
I hope my project is not a crashing option...

So I am going to start by learning the terms for the industry of my product... Free Stock Game... But how do I know what the terms are... I am going to start with The Free Stock Game site... look for waords I dont understand... I will work on google.. looking at other people sites... and then since I gathered the knowledge I will probably write a hubpage..

Once I have a good solid understanding of the BASIC terms for the stock industry I will probably see if I can make my first stock trade...

The whole object for me is to figure out how to use the site... what trading stocks is all about.. what my customer base will be... how do I plan to get customers to sell my product to... where will my office be...

Some of these questions I have a general idea of the answer... some of them will change over time... one thing for sure...

If I get to know my product... I will be able to answer all of them soon enough...

When it comes to knowing my product I go over the top... over the next 5 months I will find books... talk to people in the industry.. I will probably do something related to the stock market almost everyday...

Trading stocks is much harder then it sounds... Espically when you hear terms like playing the stock market it makes it sound like a game... I may not be ready to play today.... but as you will see in future hubs... I will be in the major leagues soon enough...
