Updated on September 6, 2011

Marketing Strategies

Have you tried marketing with Twitter?  If you an affiliate marketer trying to break into the world of online money?  Maybe your trying to find a way to make money online with blogging.  If so Twitter will prove to be very beneficial in your marketing strategy.  There are many great tools online that will help you make money online, Twitter is just one piece of the puzzle.

There are thousands of possible customers out there, regardless of what your product or service is.  Properly using Twitter to your advantage will help you bring those customers to your website, or even brick and mortar store.  You just need to learn the proper use of the social networking site.

Social network marketing strategies are becoming the main way for most online marketers.  This is what makes Twitter and Facebook alike their main focus.  The problem comes with the spam that these sites are seeing.  To make the most of these sites you need to keep the spam low to none at all.  Let us just focus on Twitter marketing here.  I feel that using Twitter to your advantage will help you reap the benefits that thousands of customers can bring.

Do you have a Twitter account?  If not, I suggest heading on over to Twitter and signing up.  Then you have to start adding followers.  This is the step that most new Tweeters fail at.  If your new then you probably have no idea on where to find these followers.  The best method is start following other tweeters.  They will then start to follow you.

What to tweet?  Tweet anything you like.  That is the best of thing about Twitter is that you can tweet anything.  I find it best to tweet anything from blog posts to what you are doing at that moment.  The biggest mistake people can make is tweeting nothing but sales pitches.  This is called spam.  So, keep you tweets normal and fun, then followers will come.  The best part is that they will listen.  Mainly because they want to hear what you have to say.

Blog posts to Hubpages.  These are great reasons to tweet.  You can get lots of traffic to your blog or hub by using Twitter.  Just remember that the more you tweet the more you might be labeled as a spammer.  Which is one thing that you do not want.  Not only will tweeting make you a more popular online person, but as you can see it can also make money.

Social bookmarking is a great way to get traffic to your sites or blogs. I have recently noticed the share button on the bottom of all my hubs. This has driven me to spend the time and start posting my hubs to twitter, digg, stumbleupon and reddit.

I love using twitter to gain traffic. Another great way is social bookmarking sites like Digg, and Stumbleupon.

      Thanks for sharing!
