When pinning a hub do you shorten or change the title so it is easier to search on pinterest?
I notice that many pins in pinterest have short titles like "cucumbers" instead of "Easy Cucumber Salad Recipe" or something else like that. I also find that when I want to search for things I type in "peanut butter cookies" instead of "crunchy and delicious peanut butter cookie bites". Would you ever change your own hub title or someone else's when pinning?
I never shorten links, only make them longer for pinterest. It appears to work because I am able to track visits to the work of others using this system. People are finding what I share. Without a tracker I wouldn't know.
I wonder how many hubbers are aware exactly what their link tracker can do for them. If I share for someone I want to know the results. I can't access their back office to see, so the only way I know is by adding my hub pages tracker.
If you want to know which system works best add your own tracker. Try both ways, then you will know what works best. The tracker can be added from the bottom of each hub. You hit the button which says "link to this hub."
Ahhh.. Thanks for this info. I never thought about doing that. Interesting.
Sounds like a good way to track this information. I know that the average title should be around eight words total, but some seem to get google searches with shorter or longer titels.

I know it's been asked before. I've even asked it before. But is there a better and easier way to bring in links to a link capsule from another hub. It'd make linking series so much easier. I spent about 2 hours yesterday linking an old series that I have together. It included about 20 or so hubs...

Is the title too long? I like the first part as a title, but I know it would be too obscure for search engines. At the same time, the two sentence version is quite a mouthful. Should I trim it down to just the second half? http://hubpages.com/hub/New-Boss-Old-Boss

I just wondered if anyone else experiences this. Even though I ususally write my hubs in Word, there is still a lot of creative things that happen once I start to bring it over into the HP modules. Sometimes, this process makes me re-think the title and/or category for my hub. I think...

Dear hubbers, I have recently tuned the title of one of my earlier published hubs, using Title Tuner. Instantly the name is changed in my hubpage, however while doing a sample search, I still get the old hub title, why is it so? How can I make the new title appear in search engine searches?...

Why is it easier to edit the writing of others than our own?I've noticed that if I am working on an editing assignment; I can easily spot mistakes and fix them. When I edit my own, even after taking a break after writing it; it can be difficult to see and hear my own mistakes. The...
