   Unfortunately, there are far too many con artists out there that prey upon a dream that is shared by many girls of becoming a model. Part of this con includes presenting themselves as modelling agents, approaching young women, telling them what they want to hear. ``Have you modeled before? You have just the look we are looking for.`` Once they have the young lady excited, the subject of money is brought up. Whether it be hundreds of dollars for a portfolio or a thousand dollars for representation, a legitimate agency will not ask for money. A legitimate modelling agency will invest in their models and not ask for one penny,
   
   Simply, if you are approached by an agency representative and they ask for money, turn around and walk away.
