Getting your important works displayed on other sites and put in front of more eyeballs is an important part of marketing your brand and your site. It helps drive traffic to where you want it and that can only be good for your business and your credibility as an authority in your field. Its also good for your peace of mind because it provides some freedom from the constant changes to certain search engines that can affect the way your site ranks organically,

Getting traffic from other sources is the best way to protect your site and keep it's readership number up, which is what you want!

So what would you like to know about this process? Read this page and find out about what to do and what not to do when it comes to publishing your stuff on other people's sites if you want it to stay published and not get caught up in naughty writer filters!

Writing to Publish

The idea of writing articles that you want to publish and have them stay published is to make them original, informative, readable and interesting. If you can fulfil the needs of a read person reading your document, then chances are the owner of the site you have published on will not complain.

In fact, one of the biggest complaints from article directory owners is the proliferation of sub-standard work that is submitted to them. Often, lazy people use spinners to rehash text into dozens or even hundreds of clone articles that are often unreadable by humans and only good for search engine bots. This is clearly going to backfire in the long run because the search engines are getting better and better at sniffing out sub-standard content that they simply do not want in their index.

Think of it this way. If you had an index of pages that you wanted your users to use and find useful, informative and relevant, would you want spun garbage clogging that index up? Of course you wouldn't! And neither do the search engines.

In the past, the practice of spinning hundreds of garbage pages and submitting them all over the web was an accepted way of getting links back to your site or blog. These days, this simply doesn't work like it used to and in the case of Google can actually harm your site's ranking in the index.

Clearly this is not what you want to see happen, so the best way to use article submission these days is to place your link in a decent piece of work that is relevant to your site and readable by a human! So this is the way to do it. I know it means a lot of work, but the flip side is that these days, you don't need a ton of pages out there all linking to your site for it to rank.

Less is more!

So a few well written pages of content in the right places can work magic for your site. try it!
