Because you want meaning in your life, work can define who you are and give you that meaning. It can determine who you spend time with and the means you live by. The correct job can enrich your life while the wrong job can definitely drain you physicially, mentally and spiritually. You need to avoid mistakes in your career paths to make your work satisfying. Let’s face it, nobody wants a job that they hate.

The test on this website measures several important parts of who you are. It is based on:

You are not always good at something that you are interested in.

You may be skillful in something, but you may not enjoy using that skill in a career move

Your personality may not be right for everything you are good at and even something you may like to do

The WOWI career online assessment will measure what interests you, if you have the aptitudes and also if you have the personality to fit the job.

This should never be after you quit your job.

You should also not see a counselor when you are extremely miserable in what you do. You should never allow yourself to get into that situation.

Never think about a counselor when you are miserable, you should ensure that you are happy and that your career fits before you even start the job.

This type of approach can be a lot for people that are already at the limits of time management. Most counselors in career centers charge up to $150 an hour to help their clients. You know that that will go well beyond one visit. Most will charge up to $750 for most sessions. That is a lot of money if you can spend less and get the same information.

The WOWI career counseling test will give you everything you need and all the possible directions that you can go with only a $39.99 investment. That is it and you will have many answers for your career path!

The World of Work Inventory (WOWI) is a multi-job assessment tool based on information in the U.S. Department of Labor's database. The 3 simple parts of the WOWI are made to measure individual uniqueness in relation to specific work tasks, work trait characteristics, and desired style of life.

The Career Interest Activities section investigates a person's preference for individual tasks and activity in relation to employment in which the majority of people do.

The Job Satisfaction Indicators portion includes twelve temperament factors shown in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles and is related, specifically, to worker placement and adjustment.

The Vocational Training Potentials section grades the entry level skills or the possible potentials of benefitting from additional training.

There is a saying.. If you can not CHANGE THE GIRL, CHANGE THE GIRL. ;) I think, this saying also applies to our jobs. If you can make better environment for your job then it is really good. But if this is not the situation, you should move on..

@TransplantedSoul: Agreed! I think that most people get bored. I hated working at a job where it was monotonous. I ended up working in a prison and things were different every day! I eventually got tired of that also, it was very stressful. Thank you for visiting.

Everyone has phases in their career where they "hate" their job (or at least have some disatisfiers). In many cases you can change the environment, or morph the job into something that works better for everyone. Patience and creativity can help. But if this is not the case, and you HATE your job - it might be time to look around.
