Should you use work on sites like Hubpages in a resume?
I know that obviously you would need to show some level of professionalism, but would this be one of those "out of the box" moves that could get you noticed?
In today business world there are many things you can use for your resume or CV. After all your resumes is tool to represent yourself. Even with educational background additional expertise or experience is welcome. Resume looks and requirements constantly changes. It would not hurt you to add hub pages or any other activities you enjoy. It's shows to potential employer your additional skills.
I agree with Vagabund, whose answer I voted up. In addition to that, I intend to refer to myself as a 'freelance writer' as a resume puff, just as soon as I land my first $100 AdSense check, because at that time it will be the truth, of course. We make money in just the same way as writers for newspapers and magazines do, as far as I can see -- by way of advertising revenue.
