how does one take care of his immediate environment? but the entire environment does not take of itself?
Pick up your house and yard but dump your oil down the storm drain and find out. It is easy for most people to take care of what they can see but more importantly that which their neighbors can attribute to them and then to thoughtlessly treat that which they don't have to immediately deal with or even contemplate as they don't have to look at it all the time with contempt or indifference.
