Hi. Is Diminishing marginal productivity of labour same as diminishing marginal returns to...
labour? What is the difference? Thanks
The short answer is that they're closely related, but not exactly the same. Diminishing returns to labor occur *because* of diminishing marginal productivity. At some point, there is a drop off. You can only get so much out of an individual. You can only get so much out of adding additional people.
