Selecting .co TLD for my blog

which one would be good .COM or .CO for my blog/website? Domain registrars giving good hype for .CO TLDs and selling them with a high price compare to other TLDs (though we can get discount with some registrars for .CO)

I did a lot of research into this lately and my decision, based on everything I read (and it was a lot) is that I would not myself use a .co TLD if trying to establish a site, but would prefer a less-than-perfect .com name instead.

There are exceptions, for example if you have a really strong brand name then it makes sense to get the .co if available.

Just my opinion based, as I say, on a lot of recent reading.

    thanks lowerabworkout.

I think you are right, unless we don't have a great brand to promote, it would be a waste. Now I think even it may have some negative impacts as well from user typo. people would try to put always .com, even hear .com when we say .co and thus someone else would benefit from our traffic :-)
