I'm assuming you mean, how do you avoid a high bounce rate? Make your content very valuable and appealing, add in very relevant links, and try to engage people in conversation via the comments. People generally greatly value good spelling, grammar, presentation, and compelling subject matter. They also seem to really like to see an avatar of some type rather than the "mystery man" because it gives them some sense of who is presenting the information to them.
