I try to use basic SEO techniques such as including keywords in titles and headers, using related pictures, and writing high quality articles with appropriate keyword densities. This naturally improves the SEO and quality of the articles, but I don't do excessive optimization for my hubs.
funny you should ask....I just redid one of my hubs with the SEO techniques that I learned with blogs. Do you know that hub went from not even showing on page 25 of Google to page 2 of Google in just 3 days.
That's pretty awesome! If you don't mind my asking, what specific techniques did you find to be most effective? I personally like using good search keywords in HTML headings.
I used the heading 1, Heading 2 feature. You should also get some training on how to choose your keywords.

No theory, I want to know practically what course of action can really increase the traffic to my article i.e. what actions really SEO the articles? Fellow hubbers share your experience.

Try sending an email to HubPages staff direcently and explain your frustrations. I have found in the past they at least respond even if they don't give the results you wish for.The help wizard is how you do it.

Just curious as to if any of you experienced hubbers learnt seo techniques from online tutorials or from somewhere else,i feel, as i only have a limited knowlege of seo techniques it would be beneficial if i learnt a bit more, just wondering where the best place to learn about them would be? thanks

I know very little about SEO. If you have hubs on niche sites, is it still important to have a knowledge of SEO? I get little love from Goggle.
