How many words/characters are ideal for Google and Yahoo in the main page content, not meta tags?
I looked all over google itself and all I find are answers on the HTML title tag, but I hear that there is an ideal amount of content for search engine optimization. I am not sure if it is a certain number of words of characters and I think it is around 300 to 600 or something like that.
What is the correct content?
It depend upon the size of the page . I would say to focus on link/text ratio instead of number of words. Ideally it should be somewhere between 3 to 5%
