Privatization, Disinvestment . Is it a hot cake for Speculators.? India story.
India has mixed economy ,now government decided to sell some loss making units and selling stake of profit making units. India's private sector has taken over core sector public sector units and turned around successfully.Their skill and pragmatic attitude achieved success. Valuation of these enterprises is calculated in wrong way and it became chance for speculators.They bought some undertakings and sold to another party at premium and government lost money.
Speculators are traders and nothing to do with manufacturing, India cannot afford to lose manufacturing skills and idle plants.
