I would like to start trading in Forex but I'm pretty new to this industry so if anyone has any online broker they can refer me or any Forex program that actually works, I would appreciate it. I have put away some funds to help me start but I don't know how to go about it. Any expert advice or anyone that has experience I would very much like some help with this.

    Thanks.

Somebody once said, "The truth is there are only THREE ways for one to make money online. You either start your own business by selling everyday products or become an affiliate of a reputable company or you can become a blogger or free lance writer." wink

LOL   well I hate to burst the bubble but forex in the US is going to be taking a big hit. They are cutting the leverages back because of so many people losing their a$$es by using the high leverages. People are finally starting to see that this is not a game, it is about the same as gambling. If it was that easy to make thousands or millions I am sure the economy wouldn't be where it is right now...lol

Cheers for the info.. I do know its risky but for some reason I still want to give it a shot. I just want to avoid being part of the 95% of wannabe traders that don't make it in Forex.

Well, if you are serious about it, I can help. Most traders lose money for a very good reason. When you say "put away some funds," - how much money are we talking about?

You got it wrong, its not 95% , its 99% people loosing in forex. They looses due to greed, hope and poor money management. You can easily be the one among them.
          Note few things first
          1. its not get rich quick thing
          2. Its very boring

for first point, i will say don't risk too much. target 5-10% return per month
          for second point:  don't overtrade.

Also u can join a chatroom consisting of forex traders like ircforex.com/chat

there u can get better info

I agree that it's boring but I've heard the 1% of people are making a killing with this so thought I'd be part of that. Thanks for the info

Mind you, the group of winners and loosers decided from first trade itself, so better be prepared from demo accounts before real money trading.
You need a system which will tell you when to enter and exit and good money management plan and discipline.

Actually in life only 10% will succeed in any field they have chosen or any business, let's take hubpages what percentage do you think is making monthly check? if more than 20% is anybody's guess. The 90% that does not earn will term it a scam. And also in forex market with it's volatility only 10% will be success. Since we want to become billionaires within the shortest time possible with little investment and effort, the law of accumulation does not allow and you will loose your money trading forex or any other business. Forex market works and it's take a lot of learning and having some discipline. Check on Alpari UK, They are one of the best brokers with small spread in some major currency

Remember in forex once you loose your money, I will have it and in life when you don't have money somebody else has the money. Forex is not gambling and I wonder if they train people to gamble

depends on volatility, december was very slow and only got 5%.
November brought a smile as dubai thing happened gave me 35% return, some months are good, some are breakeven and couple in losses too, on a long run, i am happy.
