Seekyt Review and Earnings

Updated on April 30, 2013

Best Article Writing Site for Adsense

I am writing a review of Seekyt earnings and how you can make a substantial amount of money just by writing from the comfort of your own home. Do you ever dream of leaving your 9 to 5 day job? Do you ever want to spend more time with your family and live anywhere in the word? Imagine working a few hours a day on your computer and spending the rest of the day doing what you want. This is a dream held by millions of people. While many people feel that this dream is unattainable, I'm here to tell you otherwise.

There are so many money-making scams on the Internet nowadays that it is difficult to decide what is actually real and what is false. As a general rule of thumb, stay away from any sites that require you to make an upfront payment. There are many ways to make money off the internet, but the most stable and best way, is to write articles (400-1000 words) on a variety of topics that you can choose from. Below, I will go over why I believe Seekyt is one of the best revenue sharing sites on the Internet.

Seekyt vs. Infobarrel

Seekyt is one of the best places to start writing articles. I have done countless hours doing research on which sites to write my articles and I've even signed up with several different sites. One of the best things about Seekyt is that it offers 70% revenue share. This is one of the highest revenue sharing of all the article writing sites. Only Infobarrel, at 75% gives a higher share of the revenue. When you start writing here, you will need to sign up with Google Adsense so that you can make money from the ads that are placed alongside your articles.

While Infobarrel is more established and older than Seekyt, I feel that it is much easier to write for Seekyt. I tend to be more productive and I am available to quickly pump out several articles at a time. Seekyt has a unique feature in which once you hit the minimum word count (400 words), the writing editor turns green to notify that you don't need to write any further. From my experience, articles that are anywhere from 500 to 700 words perform the best because of the way they complement the ads. Compared to Infobarrel's initial 10-article approval, on Seekyt you will be approved after submitting 3 high quality articles.

Even though Infobarrel has a PR rating of 4 and Seekyt has a PR rating of 3, I find that they perform equally in terms of ranking. I have some Infobarrel articles ranking higher than Seekyt articles and vice versa. How well you do on Google search is largely determined by the quality of your article and how natural it sounds. Don't stuff your article with keywords. Make sure to write in a natural manner, which is gaining traction every time Google updates its algorithms.

Seekyt and Amazon

Seekyt is also one of the best places to sell products from Amazon. The design has made it easy for you to integrate Amazon products. In order to make money with Amazon products you need to sign up as an affiliate. Every time someone reads your articles and clicks a link to an Amazon product and buys it, you get paid a commission. Writing a lot of Amazon product reviews can add up to a lot of money over time, especially during the Holidays.

When using Amazon on Seekyt, avoid using the sidebar widgets. I've noticed that people very rarely click through from there. Instead, create a link within your article with a picture. Make it neat and attractive so people are more willing to click through to go to Amazon. I suggest an Amazon link for every 200 words. I've seen articles loaded with links and pictures and it not only looks ugly, but it also looks spammy. People will look at that article and quickly hit the back button without even reading the article.

Although my favorite place to promote Amazon products is Squidoo, Seekyt is not far behind. Unlike Squidoo, which shares 50% of Amazon's commissions, Seekyt shares a whopping 70%. It took me a lot of trial and error to find the best way to promote Amazon products on Seekyt, but my hard work has paid off and I see several sales every week. Nevertheless, I do much better with Adsense on Seekyt. I hope to reap the same amount of revenue from Amazon and Adsense by the end of the year.

How to Make Money as an Amazon Associate
I've followed Chris Guthrie for quite awhile now and the man knows how to sell Amazon products. He has earned more than 100,000 dollars as Amazon Associate and has also sold an Amazon website worth 6 figures. This ebook provides several gems that have helped me quadruple my Amazon commission within a few months. For the price, I would definitely recommend reading it because it'll pay itself back really quickly.

Seekyt Referral Program

The absolute best part of being a writer for Seekyt is the referral program. If you refer another person to write for Seekyt, you can make 25% revenue on all the articles written by the person you referred. Don't worry you are not stealing from their 70% revenue share. The 25% comes out of Seekyt's 30%. If you sign up under my referral, I will provide you with free profitable keywords that will help you start making money. All that I ask is that you write the articles under my referral.

This is the first book that I read when I ventured into the world of Internet marketing. Today, 98% of the people on earth trade in their time to receive money. However the remaining 2% have established residual income in which they can make money while they sleep. With the advent of the Internet, this passive income has never become easier. Inspirational and littered with sound advice, Click Millionaires is a great and informative read for novices as well as gurus.

Seekyt Earnings

How much do I earn on Seekyt?

After writing more than a hundred articles on Seekyt, I'm making a very good income every month. I average about $3.50 to $4.00 every month from for every article I have submitted. I hope to continue writing and reach about 500 articles on Seekyt. I know that if I hit that mark, I'll be making 5 figures just from Seekyt alone. It is important to note that the first 20 or 30 articles that I wrote did not undergo any rigorous keyword research. In the beginning, I was experimenting on which types of articles made money and which did not.

One drawback that people may point to is that Seekyt is relatively unknown and not as big as a lot of its competitors such as Hubpages and Infobarrel. Nevertheless, I see this as an advantage. Seekyt has a lot of potential to grow into a huge website in a few years and by writing here when it is young will give you so much more advantage over those who join after Seekyt has become really popular. Those of you who are concerned with how your articles will rank in Google should not worry at all. I've written a few articles in the past week and they have all been picked up by Google almost instantly! I even have one article that is currently sitting on the first page of Google!

One last thing to note is that Seekyt's admin is very friendly and helpful. He is very active on Seekyt and does his best to answer everyone's questions. He also has a few really great articles on how to make your article more visible to Google so that you can get more visitors and make more money. Writing articles for Seekyt is not a get-rich-quick scheme. This is not a sprint, but a marathon. Many people will get discouraged when they only see a few cents in their adsense account in the first few months writing. After a year or two, those who have been persistent in writing quality articles will be handsomely rewarded.

If you plan to eventually create your own niche site, I suggest that you read WordPress Revealed. Even though sites like Squidoo, Infobarrel and Seekyt provide great ways to create some residual income, you do not have 100% ownership. Any site can be vanquished by Google overnight and you will lose all your hard work. However, if you buy a domain name and hosting, you'll be able to do whatever you want with it. You are the sole owner and therefore you have complete control of your own work.
