Introduction

Do you know who controls you? What made you do what you do? There are a vast majority of people who are controlled by their circumstances.

I believe living a meaningful life is not difficult. But, it takes time and efforts for us to understand life better. We have to develop some special skills by spending long hours.

We learn through trials and errors. Every day brings a new opportunity for us. We just need to keep our mind and eyes open.

If you want to live a meaningful life then there are six specific things which shouldn’t control you ever.

So, let us understand them one by one.

Limiting Beliefs About Self

From childhood, we are bombarded with many limiting thoughts. As we grow, these thoughts convert into our beliefs and then we start taking decisions in our life according to those beliefs.

We lose our confidence and we behave as per our limiting beliefs. But we must remember that our mind is an amazing gift of nature. And it is one of the greatest mysteries for science. Whatever humans have achieved in any field, it is just because of the capabilities of their mind.

So, never give any power to any negative thoughts inside your mind and overcome all your limiting beliefs. The first step to change your limiting beliefs is to declutter your mind and then open up your mind and heart to receive only positive thoughts

Money

Many people think money is bad, money is evil. But that is not the case. Money is energy, money is power and money is the lifeblood of the economy. Money should revolve in our life in abundance.

Money is just money but how we use money that makes it good or evil. Money can be the reason for someone's happiness. But it can also be a reason for depression.

If you think money as a positive source it will become that. Think about how many people you can really help with the abundance of money. And in simple terms never allow your important decisions to be controlled by just money. It should be your source of happiness.

Follow your passion, interest and hobby then money will follow you. When you do something with your passion, it will bring fame and money in your life. Maybe not immediately but definitely.

Don't Dwell On The Past
Don't Dwell On The Past

Don’t Dwell On The Past

Know that whatever has happened, there must be some reason. Therefore, we must let it go. Many people are stuck in their past memories. We must understand that once we let it go, our past will have no power to control us. If you want to think about your past, let good memories fill your mind.

Try to remember only sweet memories, your good friends and positive vibes instead of your failures or setbacks. It is true that both good and bad experiences matter in our life, but do not give more power to the bad experiences of your past. Leave the darkness and see the light of your bright future.

Opinion And Judgement Of Other People

We are social creatures and we always look out for others. Even though it is good to get an opinion from others, one should never allow other people’s opinions and judgements to ruin our life or control the direction of our life. Seek other people’s opinion but only for a meaningful relationship.

The vast majority of people in this world are worried about others' opinions. You must remember that you are born unique. There is some reason for which you are born and you are the only one who can find that unique reason. So, shine bright as you really are. And those who really care about you will see that light and shine with you.

Bad Relationships

There is no greater force on earth than love. People have limiting beliefs and think that if someone will arrive in their life then they will be happy.

Remember there is no guarantee about any relationship. People change just like weather as per their need and circumstances. It takes many sacrifices, time and efforts to build a solid relationship with anyone.

Instead of looking for someone to complete you, concentrate on your work and when the right time will come, your desired person will come to your life. Never leave your job and passion for someone else.

Bad Habits

It is very important to succeed in life we must develop good habits. We are the total sum of our daily habits. Good habits will lead you in the right direction, whereas wrong habits will destroy you.

To create good habits it takes time and efforts. You will need at least 21 to 90 days to build a solid habit. But once it is formed, it will stay with you for lifelong. So choose your habit carefully. Every day spend your time on the most essential tasks.

Some of the examples of good habits are reading, exercising, learning a new skill, implementing those skills, writing, helping parents, wake up on time, able to cook, able to manage money and time well. Whereas oversleeping, drinking (alcohol), smoking, scrolling mobile, watching TV for long hours, wasting time etc are the examples of bad habits.

Conclusion

These six things or circumstances are like our senses and as a monk, we must control them.

Once you can control them or let it go, they will have no power over you. Don’t restrict your ideas, thoughts and efforts. Live a meaningful life which can give you true inner peace and satisfaction.

Do something for yourself, for family and for society. Make time for three important things always, time to learn and earn, time for family and time to relax. And always remember you are AWESOME.
