Write Better Hubs by Taking Care of Your Body First!

Ever spent a long night writing, editing or organizing hubs for a challenge only to find your writing is cutting in to more important things, like your own health?

Believe it or not, Internet writers like those on HubPages can oftentimes fall into the trap of becoming slaves to our art form only to find our health and total wellness negatively effected as we settle into a sedentary lifestyle.

The 1:30:8 Hub Challenge is designed for those who want to build their HubPages portfolio and focus on healthier habits:

  1. Publish One Hub a Day for 30 Days.  Tired of freaking out trying to meet 100 hubs in 30 days or even 50 hubs?  The 1:30:8 Hub Challenge focuses on slow, measurable results by giving our participants a manageable one hub a day goal.  Of course, if you can write more, do it! But, not at the cost of the three-tiered challenge...
  2. 30 Minutes of Vigorous Activity a Day.  Get away from the desk and take a walk or some other enjoyable physical or aerobic activity for 30 minutes a day to promote cardiovascular and total body wellness.
  3. Get to Sleep Early--and Take 8 Hours.  According to researchers, 7-8 hours of sleep per night is necessary for optimal brain health.  We urge our participants to get to bed and get the recommended amount each night to help boost their writing.  Extra points for getting to bed before 2 a.m.--according to recent research in the Journal of the American Medical Association, each hour of sleep you get before 2 a.m. has the restorative effect of two hours!

By participating in the 1:30:8 Hub Challenge, all Hubbers have the opportunity to help build their hub portfolios and stretch their creative and technical writing muscles while working their real muscles, in addition to promoting good mental health across the board.
