A Great Website to Gain Traffic

Updated on August 7, 2013

I have been writing online for several years now and a few days ago, I found the best website to get the word out. This website has brought me over two hundred thousand repost and in only a few months, has surpassed Google in traffic..

The website PInterest has been amazing at getting the word out about hubs and I have not seen any other website that has compared. Not only do you get the immediate burst every time you pin, but I have one particular hub now brings in more traffic than any of the others, ever.

Signing up with Pinterest is like many other website to share links and such. After you verify your email, you are ready to start pinning. I have found that just taking a couple select hubs to pin daily works best. As always, put your best foot forward to create a following and daily choose two more hubs to keep it fresh. Not too many to over whelm the site, just a couple new ones everyday.

I have tried many others sites to help generate traffic, but I have to be honest, hands down Pinterest has been the best. My recipe hubs have down the best there, maybe thhis is related to the viewers, however all hubs pinned on this site have had at least a ten fold rise for several days. My hub on no bake cheesecake went from 5-10 views a day to 700-1000 views a day. That big of a jump. I hope you can find the same success on this site as I have, good luck and happy writings.

This website still seems to amaze me. I now have 2-3 times the traffic from Pinterest than I do on Google, take that Panda. To date the cheesecake recipe is still the best with over 170,000 repins. All I can say is Wow and I hope you have given Pinterest a try. Just pin a couple of your articles everyday and watch them go Viral.

Those are the views received on Hubpages from Pinterest traffic, far more than I get from Google. You never know what is going to go viral on there, I have one Pinned over 215,000 times, while some have only had a little gained traffic.

Pam K, Pinterest is a great tool for crafters, writers and anyone else basically. Many are there just to find great things and pass them on to others.

@Kaiyan717 when you tell us how many views you've had I'm sure you're talking about the views on pinterest. Are you also saying that your views on hubpages has increased from being on pinterest?

I'm curious about that part of it although I have had a pinterest account for several years now, and I have been putting my own hubs on pinterest. I haven't noticed a change in traffic from doing so as yet but hopefully once the summer is over that will change as things are slower in the summer.

Thanks Pam! I have one recipe for cheesecake that has now been pinned over 10k, you never really know which one will go viral. Good luck. The google button can be added from your adsense account, there is now an option to add that button, haven't tried it yet.

Thank you for writing this hub. I have read two other hubs about Pinterest, but still wasn't sure if it was just for craft-type hubs. All this new stuff! I'm not even sure how to use the Google+ tool yet.

I like your hub for its simplicity and instruction.
