Boost your Hub views and earnings

Updated on January 22, 2012

As we all know, social networking sites are a great way to promote your work from HubPages. However, the downside with using social network sites is that whenever you want to promote your Hub, it takes an age to to copy and past each link to your wall/comment box.

Enter Pinterest
Pinterest is a great little site that does the work for you. You simply press the pin it button on your toolbar, and it'll automatically pin any page you like direct to your Facebook and Twitter feeds, instantly sharing your work.

There's more though. When using Pinterest, it doesn't just add your posts to the two social network sites mentioned above. It also shares your Hub to to the Pinterest community, allowing everyone that uses the site to see it. Other users can then pin your Hub on their walls, allowing their followers to see it, and do the same, as well as 'liking' the Hub. This in effect creates a spider web with your Hub, creating numerous backlinks and views to your content. The increased views then lead to more money, and if you're promoting a business, more revenue for you in the long term.

Unfortunately, Pinterest works on an invite only basis just now. However, if you apply online, you'll normally get an invite within 3 days.

Many thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the increased exposure you'll be getting.

Indeed it is a fun site. It really helps that the layout is a bit wacky, it adds to its charm.

I recently joined Pinterest and am working on using it to increase traffic. It's a very fun site and quite addictive.

Oh, so they've changed it now? Silly me, I'll change that just now so that people can still get an instant invite for me without having to wait for the invite to come through.

Many thanks for the heads up.

There is no need to buy an invite! You can simply sign up to get on their waiting list - it took me just about three days to receive mine and I'm now a member.
