Pippap - An Environmentalist Hubber
He/She has a unique avatar of colorful birds. His/her hubs delve mostly about environment on how to reduce, reuse and recycle products. In other words, he's/she's a true-bloodied environmentalist, an eco-nut, so he said. I've posted a fan mail requesting him/her to grant my request for an interview, gave my e-mail address and waited for nth days to answer my general question.
I don't mind. I'll still feature him/here here on my hub because I believe on his cause. He/She also reminds us that " the Earth has enough resources for us all to live comfortably if we all learn to share".
This hub is another kind of sharing to learn about how kind of him/her (I don't know his/her sexual preference) to be exposing all the greatness of our planet and how we should care for it for the future generation.
Let's track him/her down.
Let's visit Surrey - Hometown of Pippap
I've been to the Great Lakes of Canada (visiting the ports and downtown of Quebec City, Trois Rivieres, Windsor, Thorold in Toronto last year 2008-2009) because of my job as a seafarer.
People, Canadians and Filipino immigrants and migrant workers kept us welcome and safe, with all the invitation to dine with them or visit seaman centers for free internet and low-cost phone cards to call at home.
With regards to pippap's home-city, Surrey, British Columbia, I already linked the info with Wikipedia's editable information, it is a member of Metro Vancouver. Most of the settlers came from Asia, and the dominant languages areĀ English language, Mandarin (Chinese), and Punjabi (Indian/Pakistan).
One thing you can boast of about Surrey City is that it often hold the largest Canada Day, ever, happened annually. The free food being handed out, rodeo attractions, among others ( I want to visit here!).
You can also check the Virtual Museum of Canada and learn something about our past, dinosaurs and all.
Wait, coinciding the HubCamp of HubPages on October, Surrey International Writer's Conference is annually held here since 1991. I'm sure, pippap attended this event which unite writers, agents and publishers all over the world.
You can also bookmark Fusion Festival which include food, music and dance presentation from over 60 different cultures. It is expected to be an annual event since 2008.
Agree with me, fellow hubbers, I'm beginning to feel at home with Surrey City.

Close encounter with pippap
Whether it's another account or his/her main in HubPages, I am thankful that pippap followed me and urge me pay attention to the present situation of the world, especially the environment.
I was moved by his hub on the destruction of the tropical rainforests around the world. Recently, in one of provinces here in Bicol, Philippines, illegal loggers in Camarines Norte managed to escape forest rangers at Bicol National Park but left newly sawed trees, much to the disgust of the local residents.
We all know that with the presence of tropical rainforests, natural disasters, like typhoons and landslides will be prevented. But due to the slash-and-burn style of farming being practiced by the locals., the dangers of experiencing the wrath of the Earth is always at bay.
