Done and Dusted with Hub Challenge

Updated on June 04, 2009

And so, the end is here...

Yippee! Woo hoo! With this hub I now complete the dirty days and dirty nights challenge! Against all odds, I have completed dirty hubs in dirty days! It has been a bit of an ordeal, a little bit frustrating at times, but I have done it and am temporarily proud of myself.

Over this period in time, I don't think I got more adsense clicks as I still don't have adsense as the buggers still won't recognise my address in China as being a legitimite address. Did Google traffic or other search engine traffic come rolling up to my door? Nope, no more than the usual. I did get over seventy more fans though, so hubbers must have been getting desperate for something to read. And, I did sell a copy of my book! Yippee!

Doing dirty hubs in dirty days was more difficult than I imagined, as some hubs took me more than four hours to do. Working full time and trying to have a life as well, made time management an eternal problem. I tried to keep to my same quality and not lower my standards. However, some hubs proved to be more popular than others, and some got lost in the hubtivity. So, I have decided to share my dirty hubs with you, and the stats for them over this period. Was the Hub Challenge worth taking part in? Not for me, no. But, I'm game to give anything a try. Would I do it again? Nope, probably not. For those who are still hammering away on the keyboard - good luck to you guys and hope you achieve your personal goals.

      Congratulations Cindy you did it!!!

I was not "brave" enough to take the challenge... too lazy I guess. I admire your time management: full time work, the hub challenge and still enjoy a life! how do you do it? I seem to be stuck on the last one :) I don't think I would have managed to do 30 hubs in 30 days.

Well done, you showed us it can be done: not only quantity but quality as well.

Well done you. I am getting the message loud and clear on here that it is not about money...... it's about communicating with like minded people..... cannot believe you have only sold one book after the article Blondepoet wrote..... I am going to get one, when my credit card is up to date......
