Useful Tips to Increase Your Hubpages Profile Score

Updated on April 16, 2020
  1. Create quality hubs - This should be the major reason why you join the hubpages anyways, so stick to the subject and one of a kind hubs. If you find this one hard to accomplish, then choose any of the other suggestions below.
  2. Participate on hub forums - Another given. When you participate on forums, other people notices your profile and they might actually read your hubs which is equivalent to a score higher in the hub profile.
  3. Publish a hub regularly - It might be hard to publish a new hub when you don't have a nice topic to begin with or if your creative juices aren't flowing. But this should not be an excuse not to publish a new hub. You can publish a mini-hub, which has fewer words than the rest of your hub, and has less interesting topic than your other hubs, but you can always put some link on in to your most read hub. Check out my other hubs titled how to make a vietnam rose bloom, healthy oven toaster recipe and Elevator Itch. They're not doing good on statistics but they add up to the total number of impressions and clicks and they kinda introduce my profile to other new readers.
  4. Post comments on the hubs that you like - This one's so easy and yet it has a lot of benefits. I once posted on a hub named Splendid Philippine Festival which was later qualified as one of the choices on hub nuggets and I noticed that one of my hub increases traffic. I don't think its just coincidence, its actually a marketing strategy.
  5. Change your profile picture once in a while - This could be effective whether you are using your own picture or just any pictures that you like. Changing your profile picture will attract attention of the other people who are interested on the picture that you post. And this can yield to a new fan or a new hub reader.
  6. Broaden your hub topics - by doing so you can attract a wide range of reader that could actually contribute to the increase in your hub score. Don't just limit your hubs to the usual topics that you have published earlier. Remember, a fresh change might be the key to your hub success.
